Today we checkmate boredom: Mou peça i fes colla!
Today, Saturday, May 9, from 10:00 a.m., Club d’Escacs Balàfia will be waiting for you at C. Vila de Foix, on the corner of av. Blondel, next to the IEI, for the activity “Mou peça i fes colla!”, as part of the Lleida Festa Major 2026.
It will be a street chess gathering, free and open to everyone, designed to share games, laughs and a great atmosphere with people of all ages. You do not need to arrive with a Sicilian Defence ready or a Grandmaster stare: just bring your willingness to play, learn, compete a little —or a lot— and enjoy a festive morning moving pieces in the heart of the city.
