Miquel Vicente, Runner-up in Tàrrega and Best U16 Player! Great morning for Balàfia!
his morning, a delegation of our young talents from Club d’Escacs Balàfia competed in the “Tots els nens Juguem !!! Tàrrega 2025” tournament, showcasing an exceptional level of play and great sportsmanship.
We want to send huge congratulations to our entire expedition, with a very special mention for Miquel Vicente Casaseca. Miquel completed a spectacular tournament, securing 2nd place in the overall standings with 6 points. This result also crowns him as the best U16 (Sub-16) player of the competition. A brilliant performance that leads the way!
We also highlight the great performance of Joan Vicente Casaseca, who fought hard in the U10 category, achieving a commendable 3.5 points.
From Club d’Escacs Balàfia, we want to extend our sincerest gratitude to the organization led by Club d’Escacs Tàrrega and the arbitration team, headed by Israel Campos Olaya, for the magnificent management and for creating a perfect playing atmosphere.
