Participation and Results – Lleida Blitz Individual Championship 2025
On July 12, 2025, the Lleida Blitz Individual Championship took place, organized by the Catalan Chess Federation. The Balàfia Chess Club was represented by five players who competed at a high level until the final round.
Club representation and final standings:
- Ricard Bringue González (Elo 2032) – Played on top boards throughout the tournament. Although he narrowly missed the podium, his performance was strong and consistent.
- Daniel Cosialls Baz (Elo 1907) – Delivered a solid performance, finishing in the upper half of the standings.
- Miquel A. Vicente Oliva (Elo 1846) – Competed consistently and earned a respectable mid-to-high finish.
- David Monzonis Quaild (Elo 1731) – Demonstrated great sportsmanship and a positive attitude in every round.
- Miquel Vicente Casaseca (Elo 1453) – Scored 4 points, finishing in 35th place overall.
